There's a lot more to driving a boat than
just enjoying the gorgeous views Bonaire has to offer.
Wakeboarding
Wakeboarding is a very popular watersport
on Bonaire which involves
riding a wakeboard over the watersurface. It was developed from a combination of
water skiing, snow boarding and surfing techniques. Here at Blue Bay we supply you with state
of the art boards, vests, ropes and bindings, all by major brands like Hyperlite,
Liquid Force and CWB.

Aside from renting equipment, we
can also teach you the tricks of Wakeboarding from beginner
level up to the more serious stuff.
In the 2010 Wakeboarding Championship event on Bonaire, we gained second price in the
women's best wakeboarder category. To check out some of the Wakemaster Bonaire

Waterskiing
If you find
wakeboarding a little over the edge but you would like to feel the thrill of
riding the surface, why not try skiing the waves? The techniques are fairly
simple, but the thrill remains. Maybe you're even up for ditching one of the
ski's and go mono?
Kneeboarding
A new and upcoming
style of boarding behind a boat and a lot of fun this is too!! In kneeboarding,
you're towed on a hydrodynamically shaped board at a planing
speed behind a motorboat. Advantages of kneeboarding as to other tow-sports seems to be an
easier learning curve and a sense of being closer to the water when falls occur.
This is a definite must-try behind a boat.
